Our Teaching MethodAt Putnik School, we believe in a structured yet natural approach to language learning. Instead of overwhelming students with complex grammar from the start, we focus on building a strong foundation step by step:
- The Basics – We begin with the essentials: the Russian alphabet, sounds, and first words. This helps students feel comfortable with pronunciation and recognition.
- Expanding Vocabulary – Gradually, we introduce more words and phrases, teaching students how to structure and build simple sentences. This stage focuses on communication and confidence.
- Introducing Grammar – Only once students have a solid vocabulary do we start diving into grammar rules. Russian grammar is complex, but we believe that learning it too early can be discouraging. Instead, we prioritize practical communication, ensuring that even with imperfect grammar, you can still be understood.
Our philosophy is simple: Vocabulary first, grammar later. With enough words at your disposal, you can express yourself, understand others, and gradually refine your accuracy over time.
